Google Sheets™ Extension
Finicom provides custom formulas for Google Sheets™ that allow you to pull financial data directly into your spreadsheets via an Extension. These formulas enable real-time access to your accounts, balances, and transactions data directly within Google Sheets.
Setup
- Install the Finicom Extension into your Google Workpace or Account
- Open your Google Sheet
- Click on the "Finicom" menu at the top
- Select "Use this Add-on" to enable Finicom on that sheet
- Sign up for a Finicom account or log in to your Finicom account. Sign up for a Finicom account if you don't already have one
- Connect your bank accounts through the Finicom dashboard
- Create an API key within your settings page
- Enter your API key from the Finicom dashboard into the Finicom menu
After this, you'll be able to pull bank account information directly into your spreadsheet via the FINICOM_GET_ACCOUNTS
, FINICOM_GET_ACCOUNT
, and FINICOM_GET_TRANSACTIONS
formulas!

- FINICOM_GET_ACCOUNTS - List all connected accounts
- FINICOM_GET_ACCOUNT - Get details for a specific account
- FINICOM_GET_TRANSACTIONS - Fetch transaction data
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues:
- Verify your API key is correctly set up via the Finicom menu
- Check that your account IDs are valid
- Ensure your formulas are using the correct parameter formats
- If needed, you can remove and re-add your API key through the Finicom menu
